About

This blog is a place where you can easily find trail descriptions, directions, pictures, and various adventures from around West Virginia and beyond. The only real guide to most of these trails is the Monongahela National Forest Hiking Guide – which can only pack in so many words and photos.

The aim of this blog is to help with trip planning and to help hikers, bikers, climbers, and paddlers to be better prepared for whatever adventure they’re heading into. Each post will include photos, descriptions, obstacles, and sometimes directions to wild and wonderful places throughout West Virginia.

If you know of a trail or area that you’d like me to make a post about, feel free to shoot me a message with the trail name! I’ll be happy to check it out when I can. If you’d like to make a guest post about a trail you’ve explored, a climb you’ve conquered, or a float you’ve paddled, feel free to shoot me a message, as well.
